Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• 7+ years experience in Public Relations, preferably with at least 2+ years working directly in the crypto or blockchain industry
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing PR and communications strategies
• Strong network of media contacts and proven ability to build relationships with Tier 1 media outlets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage crises and respond to media inquiries effectively
• Experience in supporting brand partnerships and activations
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize and work well under pressure

What the job involves

• Develop and implement PR and communications strategies to grow CMC’s share of voice
• Proactive media outreach and pitching for top-tier conference keynotes, media interviews, commentaries, and securing coverage for announcements
• Create PR campaigns that amplify CMC messages and align with industry trends
• Establish and maintain relationships with global and regional Tier 1 media outlets
• Support global and local PR and marketing activities
• Lead proactive storytelling, pitches, and campaigns to secure positive media placements, focusing on CMC’s story, mission, and vision
• Provide comprehensive communications support for all online and offline events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presentation
• Active media monitoring and handling of crisis communication strategies
• Support and advice on all brand partnership opportunities and activations, ensuring alignment with CMC’s communication goals
• Analyze and report on PR coverage and outcomes
• Help plan and execute CoinMarketCap events to ensure maximum press impact
