Remote Head of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Job in United States Bumble Inc.

What the job involves

• Lead the Company's SEC reporting process including SEC filings 10-K 10-Q and other financial reporting as required
• Collaborate with internal and external legal counsel and business partners to support 8-K proxy statement and other SEC filings secondary offerings
• Partner with Investor Relations team for quarterly earnings release and investor queries related to SEC filings
• Monitor developments assess and communicate the effects of emerging US GAAP and SEC proposed regulations
• Conduct accounting research and prepare position papers for technical accounting on significant and/or complex transactions
• Ensure accounting policies reflect current business practices and compliance with GAAP educate the global accounting organization on pronouncements and policy application
• Participate in quarter-end close activities including complex accounting calculations and entries like stock-based compensation earnings per share non-controlling interest
• Lead goodwill and asset impairment review process
• Manage and develop a high performing team by setting goals and providing ongoing feedback
• Perform SOX controls and procedures over financial reporting and accounting processes
• Lead transformation to streamline improve and automate processes
• Partner with auditors and manage audit requests to drive timely completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial presentations for Audit Committee meetings
• Perform other necessary duties as assigned
