Requirements
- Are enthusiastic about social media content and strategy and have a passion for growth
- Have experience with all social media platforms, including an understanding of content guidelines & monetisation policies for each platform
- Have experience managing social media teams and providing guidance and feedback re content ideas, video edits, etc.
- Have an understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging and shareable content
- Have previous experience working as a social media manager
- Are fluent in English, with impeccable grammar and punctuation skills
- Have excellent copywriting skills & understanding of how to optimise copy for each platform
- Have a basic understanding of copyright & media laws
Nice to have
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (or similar video editing software), Adobe Photoshop, and Canva
- Able to design attractive thumbnails, graphics, and decks
- Able to script videos & provide voiceovers for Snapchat content
Day to day
- Manage a social media team (scriptwriters, video editors etc.)
- Create and own the social media strategy and grow the brand; work with the senior team to develop and implement these strategies.
- Source viral content across the internet that matches our brands.
- Stay up to sate with all platform trends, features, and how best to optimise content.
- Provide final authorisation on content uploads - ensure there are no glitches, spelling mistakes, poor editing visuals or any content-breaking issues.
- Create the best titles & oversee the best thumbnails being created for our channels.
- Ensure all platforms are monitored for any violations, and all banners etc are always updated with latest information.
- Other social media management tasks as needed.
