Requirements
- Experience in Big 4 audit technical accounting or accounting advisory or in-house accounting within digital assets fintech broker dealer or investment banking
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Experience with ASC 606 ASC 805 and purchase accounting
- Experience with SEC pre-clearance and DeFi accounting
- Proficiency with Workiva NetSuite and crypto sub-ledgers such as Luca TaxBit or BitWave
- Ability to build legal entity financials from high-volume unstructured data
- Experience creating SOPs for offshore teams and improving month-end close cadence
- Ability to collaborate with trading and business development teams on accounting impacts

Day to day
- Lead technical accounting and financial reporting for a scaling digital asset business, ensuring U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance.
- Investigate and normalize complex historical and on-chain transaction data to build audit-ready financial records and a reliable source of truth.
- Draft sophisticated disclosures, MD&A, and prospectus materials while partnering with trading and business teams on new products and accounting impacts.
