Role


Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field +2 years’ experience
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in designing and developing web applications or services using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Apollo GraphQL, SQL, Node.js, and CSS3
  • Expertise with Esri/ArcGIS software development, including ArcPy Python programming
  • 3 years in developing and maintaining GIS software applications
  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies, and experience with DevOps best practices

What the job involves

  • You’ll design and develop web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, React, and Node.js
  • Develop tools to transform complex hydrologic data into formats that support The National Map
  • Work in an Agile environment, focusing on JavaScript and Python applications in an AWS Cloud Native setting with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methods
