Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing
  • 1–3 years of immigration practice or closely related experience
  • Strong knowledge of immigration law and INA provisions
  • Experience advising on family-based employment-based and humanitarian visas
  • Ability to assess removal defense asylum and crimmigration issues
  • Excellent legal research fact-gathering and analytical writing skills
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Comfort working independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to manage multiple intakes and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Arabic or Spanish highly beneficial
  • Commitment to client-centered advocacy and non-discriminatory service

Day to day

  • Conduct initial legal assessments for prospective immigration clients and review intake information carefully.
  • Interview clients to gather facts identify immigration issues and determine potential case strategies.
  • Prepare concise case summaries identify needed documentation and collaborate with senior attorneys on triage and follow-up recommendations.
  • Draft preliminary legal analyses maintain accurate records and help streamline intake workflows for efficient client service.
