Who you are
Experience in using/writing SQL
Experience in receiving and manipulating data to feed back into a database system
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Working knowledge of project methodologies
Experience working with customers and/or external agencies
Ability to problem solve and multi-task in demanding circumstances
Ability to work on your own or part of a team and on multiple projects in parallel
UK Driving license and willing to work away from home as required.
Desirables
Experience of creating, configuring, and implementing NEC Revenues and Benefits system modules
Expertise and extensive up to date knowledge in one or more of the following business areas, NEC products or Services: Revenues (Council Tax and/or Non-Domestic Rates), Benefits (CTR and/or HB)
Working Knowledge of ORACLE SQL and/or PL/SQL
Experience in using UNIX systems
What the job involves
Provide high quality implementation consultancy and training for NEC customers within the Government sector.
Extend the capability of the team by training and mentoring others in your areas of expertise and learning new skills, products, and business areas from colleagues.
Ensure all consultancy and training is delivered effectively and achieve positive customer feedback.
