Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
- Experience conducting civil litigation and submitting claims through the UK courts
- Strong knowledge of EU Regulation 261/2004 EC261 UK261 and the Civil Procedure Rules CPR
- Excellent legal drafting negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Strong analytical communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Nice to have
- Aviation law experience
- Consumer rights experience
- High-volume litigation experience
Day to day
- Manage airline passenger compensation claims under EU261 and UK261
- Prepare issue and conduct court proceedings for claims
- Draft legal documents advise on litigation strategy and support compliance with CPR
- Manage disputes with airlines and provide legal support across the business
