Requirements

  • Proven experience minimum 2 years as an Independent Financial Adviser
  • Must hold CAS status and have an active SPS in place
  • Qualified to minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of financial products markets and regulations
  • Some client assets to bring with them on joining £3m+ or a demonstratable strong network lead generation source already in place
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using technology including web-based CRMs diaries microsoft teams sharepoint zoom docusign cloud-based task management advice portals digital factfinds risk profiles and KYC processes
  • Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently
  • Track record of new business development in previous roles

Day to day

  • As an IFA you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients helping them achieve their financial goals and secure their financial future
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients' financial situations goals and risk tolerance
  • Develop personalised financial plans based on clients' needs and objectives
  • Stay updated on financial products investment opportunities and industry regulations
  • Recommend suitable financial products and services that align with clients' goals
  • Analyse financial markets and economic trends to make informed investment recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
  • Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with clients
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to address clients' changing financial needs
  • Generate new business through networking referrals introducers and other business development activities
  • Expand and maintain a client base through effective marketing strategies
