Who you are

• 3+ years of experience in hardware product management or development-type roles
• 2+ years of experience in hardware UX research and testing
• Ability to understand technological elements and constraints
• Experience with CAD software/3D modeling software

Desirables

• Experience with customer-facing hardware products and displays

• Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes

What the job involves

• Identify opportunities for new products and analyze market needs and consumer preferences
• Set design requirements, taking products from concept to production based on internal and external briefs
• Conduct thorough research, plan strategically, and develop comprehensive design concepts and technical specifications for plastic and metal parts
• Collaborate with various departments and external partners to create efficient production processes, ensuring adherence to production schedules
• Conceive, develop, and rigorously test hardware product prototypes to ensure functionality and quality
• Create assembly and support materials for finalized hardware products to ensure a seamless production process
• Deliver innovative, industry-leading products that align with Chexology's mission
