Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication Journalism English or another technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience working as an Information Developer
• Expertise in DITA and associated information development tools
• Comprehensive understanding of minimalism and structured authoring
• Understanding of software technologies and APIs
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Ability to think critically and propose content to address customer needs
• Self-motivated detail-oriented team player with excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English

What the job involves

• Plans organizes and develops content that supports customer needs including in product and user content reference guides and release notes
• Participates in product grooming planning and development meetings
• Collaborates with product management development project managers customer support and users to plan create and update product content that supports the business strategy
• May participate in user research and evaluating the product interface from the user perspective
• Works with an editor and/or a content strategist as necessary
• May assist in developing blog posts community articles and white papers that contribute to customer success
• Maintains up to date knowledge on trends and best practices for developing software content
