Requirements

  • Working knowledge of personal auto insurance operations
  • Experience using quantitative approaches to generate sound business analyses
  • Ability to retrieve and analyze data to identify trends and answer ad hoc business questions
  • Ability to interpret competitor product offerings from filings websites and other sources
  • Ability to research insurance laws and regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite SQL and BI software
  • Experience or exposure to InsurQuote and/or Radar Base
  • Programming knowledge in R or Python is a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and documentation standards
  • Integrity while successfully managing work demands
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance Math Insurance or related field preferred
  • 2+ years work experience in analytics required

Day to day

  • Support state management efforts to launch new auto insurance products in a compliant manner
  • Research regulatory and legislative issues while conducting qualitative and quantitative competitive analysis
  • Track business metrics create reports and visualizations and help resolve rating or underwriting issues
