Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Programming/Systems or Computer Science
  • Involvement with small to medium projects implementing data solutions
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years experience working with large datasets
  • Experience with Azure Databricks
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Fundamentals knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with data tools and platforms like Azure, Hadoop, NoSQL, Spark, SQL Server
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical, payer, or health services preferred
  • Proficient with Python and SQL/NoSQL languages across various sources
  • Understanding cloud-based data technologies
  • Eagerness to learn from senior team members
  • Strong interpersonal and team interaction skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

What the job involves

  • Build the next generation Data Analytics platform
  • Contribute to platform design and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using large datasets
  • Develop data engineering products for complex data models
  • Create data models expressing business processes
  • Establish stakeholder relationships ensuring data products align with Analytic product goals
  • Collaborate with Analytics team members and 3rd party partners to develop data products boosting B2B/B2C capabilities
  • Utilize Azure Databricks data lake house for Business Intelligence and Data Science products
  • Optimize data asset performance and transfer knowledge to stakeholders
  • Implement data cleansing procedures and develop recommendations for improving data integrity
  • Identify and validate opportunities for data sharing and reuse
  • Develop data transformation and aggregation logic and conduct unit testing
  • Create a framework for representing data elements, relationships, and attributes
  • Ensure data access mechanisms meet analytics needs
