Remote International Accounting Manager Job in United States Illumio

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including 3+ years of international accounting experience
• Public accounting experience technology industry experience and CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Experience with multi-book accounting in NetSuite OneWorld and proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
• Experience analyzing and mitigating foreign exchange risk preferred
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills flexibility in working with third parties across geographic regions
• A commitment to process improvement and scalability

What the job involves

• Review work by international accounting consultants including payment runs, expense reports, and payroll
• Determine monthly funding for international entities by analyzing subsidiary spending trends
• Manage statutory audits, tax filings including VAT/GST returns, and other regulatory filings and surveys
• Review intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, consolidation and foreign currency remeasurement entries
• Develop and maintain processes and internal controls for international financial operations ensuring compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate setup of new legal entities and international operations with cross-functional stakeholders
• Participate in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as required by management
