Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in good standing in any U.S. state
  • 7+ years of law practice experience including at least 3 years in-house
  • Proven experience supporting internal business clients in critical IP matters
  • Ability to provide clear practical guidance in a fast-paced global business environment
  • Flexibility to provide support on a part-time basis as required

Day to day

  • Handle a wide variety of global IP matters including licensing patent trademark and copyright issues
  • Provide practical strategic and business-focused IP counseling to internal stakeholders
  • Negotiate and draft commercial agreements with IP and technology-related provisions including software services and related agreements
  • Support patentability analysis and manage domestic and international patent portfolios
  • Contribute to IP strategies aligned with innovation and long-term business goals
