Who you are

  • Demonstrate experience in an IT Field/Service Engineer role
  • Support desktop computing, networking, and server systems
  • Ability to work alone and troubleshoot issues unaided
  • Methodical approach to daily tasks
  • Perform hardware break-fixes
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop & server operating systems
  • Capable of LAN troubleshooting
  • Understanding of various network technologies
  • Flexibility for extended travel times & overnight stays
  • Adaptability to varying working hours



What the job involves

  • Join a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Field Engineer covering the South of England
  • Provide on-site IT support for incidents and requests
  • Installation and decommissioning of desktop, networking, and server equipment
  • Carry out on-site break-fix works when required
  • Ensure operating efficiency and quality control of static sites & mobile scanners
  • Troubleshoot and effect repairs of supported IT systems
  • Provide installation support for new deployments & modifications
  • Recommend and implement operational upgrades using best practices
  • Collaborate with 3rd Parties and customers to resolve technical queries
  • Deliver a first-class customer experience
  • Maintain stock of equipment, cabling, parts & spares within the vehicle
  • Assist other Technology teams with IT related queries
  • Act as a liaison between operations staff & technology teams
