Remote Junior Financial Controller Job in UK CompuGain

Who you are

• Degree in Business Finance or Accounting preferred
• 2-3 years of professional experience gained within the financial industry
• Knowledge of UK GAAP IFRS and UK regulations
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• Proficiency in data analysis tools is a plus
• Very well organized with good time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks and issues
• Strong interpersonal skills ensuring transparent and proactive communication

What the job involves

• Supporting the CEO to ensure the smooth running of the financial activities
• Assisting in preparing business and financial analysis
• Performing Actual vs Budget analysis
• Assisting in producing monthly revenue reports
• Processing invoices and payments
• Providing assistance in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Reconciling the general ledger (i.e. bank accounts) and maintaining appropriate records
• Preparing and posting recurring journals
• Providing assistance with external auditors as required
