Who you are

• Demonstrable legal experience in a private law firm or in-house environment
• Qualified solicitor with a current Practising Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines using highly effective organisational skills
• Good critical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience of managing, supervising, and developing colleagues

What the job involves

• Join a small team of talented and ambitious colleagues to directly influence, manage, and shape Magna’s governance agenda
• Provide proactive, professional support on a mixed caseload including housing management and landlord and tenant issues
• Offer advice on general commercial matters, compliance, and contracts
• Develop a good understanding of the business and key stakeholder contacts, providing accurate and timely legal advice
• Line manage the Legal Administrator to ensure an effective and efficient service
• Collaborate with various teams to meet legal and statutory obligations
