What the job involves
- Lead and mentor the backend team
- Design, develop, test, and implement new features
- Maintain and support our applications and websites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing
- Listen to and understand customer needs to inform product roadmaps
- Propose methods and process improvements to increase developer efficiency
- Handle requirements gathering for incoming requests
- Write complex database queries and stored procedures
- Debug and troubleshoot platform issues
- Conduct code reviews
- Manage utility servers (e.g., SFTP, proxies)
