Who you are

  • Strong experience in engineering and process management in an agile environment
  • Experience in leading successful compliance and certification efforts
  • Knowledge or certification in industry standards such as ISO IEC 9001, 25010 and 15504 / SPICE
  • Successful participation in open source projects known for their engineering processes

  • Background as a software developer
  • Experience in establishing product engineering development metrics and KPIs
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills


What the job involves

  • Lead efforts to make Ubuntu fit for mission-critical environments like automotive and aerospace
  • Enable the building of mission-critical systems that meet regulatory requirements using Ubuntu
  • Work with engineering stakeholders to demonstrate Canonical's ways of working
  • Develop continuous improvement processes and establish qualification requirements to support engineering quality standards
