Excellent understanding of interior trim components, (including manufacturing; assembly; jigs)
Launch experience
In-depth understanding of door system
Manage stakeholders and keep component owners and domain leads engaged
Communication skills: able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, such as managers, customers, and suppliers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of DFMEA, 6Sigma, and 8D
Good Microsoft Office software skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)

Knowledge of Agile framework and practices
Whole vehicle knowledge
Catia V6 or 3DX
What the job involves
Join the Product Engineering team leading the design and manufacturing process by delivering our interior door trim strategy for a new customer vehicle launch
Encourage new and innovative areas of thought to leverage technology, material, and manufacturing choices to deliver a world-class interior door trim system
Manage a Full Service Supplier team to deliver all aspects of the door trim targets including cost, design surfaces, colour, materials, engineering, cost, logistics, quality, timing, sustainability, and relevant vehicle attributes like NVH
