Remote Lead I&C Hardware/FPGA Design Engineer Job in Wilmington, NC GE Vernova

Who you are

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronic circuit boards and/or FPGA design.
• Must be willing to travel once a month to Wilmington, NC for onsite testing.

Desirables

• Knowledge of PCB design, signal analysis and verification tools.
• Experience with HDL languages and PLD/FPGA development tools.
• Leadership experience.

What the job involves

• The I&C hardware Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing electronic hardware and software for Nuclear Power Plants.
• They create designs from requirements, including schematic design, component selection, and designing PCB layouts.
• Engage in verification activities that include simulation/module testing, code reviews, and integration testing of the design.
