Knowledge of theory and industry standards/practices in nonproliferation-related disciplines such as international safeguards export control arms control and CBRN security.
Background investigation including the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
U.S Citizenship with a test for drug use including marijuana for the past 12 months.
Work independently with oversight following defined policies and procedures generating solutions to nonproliferation problems.

What the job involves
Apply knowledge of international law U.S. policy theory and general industry standards/practices in subject areas: CBRN security international nuclear safeguards strategic trade controls arms control novel nuclear technologies cybersecurity climate change security AI governance.
Provide technical expertise analysis and publishable products to advance law and policy knowledge addressing national security energy and environmental challenges.
Gather analyze and evaluate information from various sources monitoring internal and external business challenges and regulatory issues recommending improvements.
Utilize technical expertise in one or more scientific engineering or policy disciplines integrating new information with current data.
Apply and interpret theories principles methods tools and technologies within a specialty making decisions guided by established policies procedures and techniques.
