Who you are

• Min 5 years of relevant professional experience in a management consultancy, law firm or legal/compliance department
• Background as a fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer
• Preferably a law degree with above-average success
• Understanding of operational and business demands
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Analytical, creative, problem-solving, and business-focused personality
• Knowledge in IT law & data privacy law is a plus
• Fluent in English, Legal English focus, German proficiency a bonus

What the job involves

• Provide legal advice and guidance on all topics under the scope of regulatory compliance with an emphasis on Anti-Bribery, Export Control, Sanctions, and evaluating potential legal risks
• Monitor legislative developments in relevant compliance areas and implement new legal requirements, including in the field of AI
• Develop, implement, and maintain various in-house regulatory and compliance policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks
• Handle compliance cases related to all topics and coordinate investigations
• Provide data protection support with the assistance of the external Data Protection Officer
• Ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes
• Review, draft, analyze, and revise corporate and commercial documents, including various contracts
