Remote Legal and Compliance Manager Job in UK Maltego Technologies

Who you are

• Min 5 years of relevant professional experience in a management consultancy law firm or legal/compliance department with a background as a fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer if possible
• Preferably a law degree with above-average success and an understanding of operational and business demands
• Strong project management organizational and communication skills
• Analytical creative problem-solving and business-focused personality
• Knowledge in IT law & data privacy law is a plus
• Fluent in English with Legal English focus
• German proficiency as a bonus

What the job involves

• Ensure that the company operates within legal and regulatory frameworks and provide the business with legal advice and support particularly in relation to commercial contracts
• Provide legal advice and guidance on regulatory compliance particularly focusing on Anti-Bribery Export Control Sanctions and evaluating potential legal risks
• Monitor legislative developments in relevant compliance areas and implement new legal requirements including in the field of AI
• Develop implement and maintain various in-house regulatory and compliance policies and procedures including whistleblowing anti-bribery & corruption AML conflict of interest competition/antitrust export control to mitigate compliance risks
• Handle compliance cases related to all topics in alignment with other internal units and coordinate investigations
• Provide data protection support with the assistance of the external Data Protection Officer including identifying internal data privacy gaps when new products are launched or improved
• Be a trusted advisor and business partner across the company by providing advice ensuring agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes
• Review draft analyze and revise corporate and commercial documents including a variety of contracts with strategic partners SaaS/PaaS license agreements purchase and sale agreements service contracts statements of work DPAs and confidentiality agreements
