Remote Legal and Compliance Manager Job in UK Maltego Technologies

Who you are

• Min 5 years professional experience in management consultancy, law firm or legal/compliance department
• Background as a fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer
• Preferably a law degree with above-average success
• Understanding of operational and business demands
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Analytical, creative, problem-solving, business-focused personality
• Knowledge in IT law & data privacy law is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Legal English focus
• German proficiency is a bonus

What the job involves

• Provide legal advice and guidance on topics of regulatory compliance with a focus on Anti-Bribery, Export Control, and Sanctions
• Monitor legislative developments in relevant compliance areas and implement new legal requirements, including in the field of AI
• Develop, implement, and maintain various in-house regulatory and compliance policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks
• Handle compliance cases related to various topics, coordinating investigations with internal units
• Provide data protection support, identify internal data privacy gaps during product development with the help of an external Data Protection Officer
• Act as a trusted advisor and business partner across the company, ensuring agreements comply with corporate policies
• Review, draft, analyze, and revise corporate and commercial documents, including contracts and agreements
