  • 3+ years experience with legal calendaring
  • Knowledge of how to find and calculate legal deadlines
  • Familiarity with the U.S. legal system
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication skills with legal professionals
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in changing environments
  • Capacity to use software for rule set building
  • Team player attitude with adaptability
  • Availability during the last two weeks of June and December

Desirables

  • Experience with probate, family law, or bankruptcy matters
  • Legal experience outside California



What the job involves

  • Building basic rule sets by researching and analyzing applicable state, federal, and/or agency codes
  • Monitoring and tracking websites for rules amendments
  • Providing support concerning procedural questions to users and helping them understand software
