Legal Contracts Manager

Lob is looking for an extraordinary and experienced Legal Contracts Manager to join Legal. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Contracts Manager will develop and be responsible for both strategic plans and day-to-day operational processes that drive Lob’s contracting process (for both revenue and cost contracts) forward. This role requires strategic vision, an ability to implement change, attention to detail, understanding of legal concepts and terminology, and strong project management skills.

As the Legal Contracts Manager, you’ll…

Review, draft, and negotiate different contracts according to established Legal guidelines;Manage Lob’s contract repository in support of business clients, due diligence processes, etc.;Develop, implement, and manage Lob’s contract compliance program;Assist in updating Lob’s template contracts, online terms, internal policies, and other documents as-neededServe as Legal’s primary point of contact and reviewer for potential new legal-related tools;Support Lob’s attorneys and business clients with projects as-needed.

What Will You Bring To This Role…

4+ years of experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department;An ability to clearly and effectively communicate on a broad range of contract-related topics;You can work independently and collaboratively, while maintaining a positive attitude;An ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment where you are asked to manage multiple projects and/or issues at once;A sense of humor, passion for learning new things, and good judgment;Capability to professionally manage highly confidential information;Prior experience building contracting processes and subsequent contract compliance frameworks is a plus but not required;Prior experience in the technology and/or SaaS industry, including experience with CLMs, electronic signature tools, etc. is a plus but not required.

Compensation Information

The compensation for this position is structured to include a base salary + RSUs. Base salary bands are listed below.

CA/NYC Tier

Base: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00

US Tier

Base: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00
