JD from an accredited US law school and admission to at least one state bar
5+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house
Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills
Experience with contract redlining and negotiation
Experience with software licensing and/or SaaS contracting preferred
Comprehensive general legal knowledge with the ability to communicate with non-lawyers
Strong written and oral communication skills
Adaptability flexibility and creativity in problem-solving
Business-oriented mindset with a practical approach to legal risk
Superior organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to spot red flags and minimize company risks while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit
Independence and ability to operate as a self-starter with minimal supervision
Ability to earn trust and strong interpersonal skills
Sound business judgment and strategic thinking
Team-oriented and able to work closely with colleagues
Exceptional time management and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Strong computer skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Proficiency in Ironclad desired or comparable CMS experience
Occasional travel required

Draft, review, edit, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology contracts including software licenses and SaaS agreements.
Provide practical legal advice across business functions such as human resources, corporate governance, litigation, and compliance.
Support privacy, security, and industry regulatory compliance while partnering closely with sales, finance, vendors, and outside counsel.
