Requirements
- JD from an accredited US law school and admission to at least one state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house
- Excellent drafting negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with contract redlining and negotiation
- Experience with software licensing and/or SaaS contracting preferred
- Comprehensive general legal knowledge with the ability to communicate with non-lawyers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Adaptability flexibility and creativity in problem-solving
- Business-oriented mindset with a practical approach to legal risk
- Superior organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to spot red flags and minimize company risks while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit

Day to day
- Draft, review, edit, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology contracts including software licenses and SaaS agreements.
- Provide practical legal advice across business functions such as human resources, corporate governance, litigation, and compliance.
- Support privacy, security, and industry regulatory compliance while partnering closely with sales, finance, vendors, and outside counsel.
