Who you are

• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience in both a corporate in-house Legal department and a US law firm
• JD from a US, ABA-accredited law school
• Strong negotiation, written, and oral communication skills
• Experience managing outside counsel

What the job involves

• Support legal matters related to core compliance activities for autonomous vehicle regulations and permits
• Handle trade compliance work to support import and export activities and develop policies for trade compliance
• Assist with employment benefits and HR matters for US and UK employees
• Conduct risk analysis and mitigation for legal risks
• Support corporate governance duties for US, UK, and Japan
• Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to protect company interests
• Advise on corporate matters, cross-jurisdictional legal issues, and emerging legal risks
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties to build trust relationships
