Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Data Science
- 3+ years of complete software lifecycle experience
- Demonstrable fluency with SQL Python and JavaScript
- Experience designing and securing all components of the ETL
- Comfortable working in agile environments
- Able to adapt quickly to frequent changes
- Evangelizing good software development practices and leading from the front
- Master of database design principles
- Strong communicator and a leader Team player product owner and committed to the results
Nice to have
- Streaming video delivery experience
- Advertising infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of streaming video formats
- Understanding of ETL processes
- BI toolset experience highly desired
- Experience with Spark/PySpark
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Understand machine learning functionality
Day to day
- Own and drive highly impactful data services and product initiatives which leverage the rich data that Wurl collects and processes
- Architect implement and deliver innovative features that scale with Wurl’s media network and beyond
- Work alongside machine learning engineers for building duplicatable and high scale ML data pipelines
- Design metadata driven database management solutions running in parallel
- Build highly secured scalable and reliable ETLs that runs 24x7 that is cloud native
- Continuously work alongside machine learning engineers to gather requirements propose solutions and implement observable repeatable and scalable ML data pipelines
- Champion innovation take ownership and lead cross functional collaboration as projects demand
