Role
Who you are
- Extensive industry experience as an ML engineer with expertise in Object Detection and Image Segmentation, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Transfer Learning, VLM, Multi-Modal or Generative models
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with distributed model training and developing custom model architectures
- Excellent programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
- Expertise in operationalizing, monitoring, and scaling ML models and pipelines in cloud ecosystems
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams in an agile environment
Desirables
- Familiar with state-of-the-art ML/AI research with publications
- Experience with Generative AI, Transformer models
- Experience building diverse ML applications end to end
- Scientific and research background
What the job involves
- Partner with product, design, and engineering to build the ML and AI system for scientists to create effective figures
- Design and execute AI/ML initiatives, oversee system performance, build and optimize models to improve design understanding and deliver accurate figures
- Collaborate with various teams to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and share data stories through presentations to make impactful recommendations
