Requirements
- Experience in writing scalable, production-ready Python code
- A strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and tools
- Proven ability to implement appropriate algorithms, develop models, validate results, and interpret model outputs
- Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and research design
- An eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Day to day
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms
- Collaborate with data scientists and senior engineers to preprocess and analyze large datasets
- Conduct data analysis, test hypotheses, and uncover meaningful relationships within the Medicine Supply Map
- Design and build data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute tests to ensure the quality and performance of machine learning models
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies
- Document processes, models, and results for future reference
