Requirements
- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of communication protocols and IT/OT technologies
- Ability to interpret electrical control schematics and fault find effectively
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with SINUMERIK CNC controllers and partner drive systems
- PLC fault-finding experience using Simatic Manager and/or TIA Portal
- Flexible attitude to out-of-hours working and on-call support

Day to day
- Provide expert field service support to customers during machine breakdowns across the UK and Ireland
- Build strong long-term customer relationships through clear communication at all levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve service outcomes
- Expand knowledge across legacy and modern industrial control systems while supporting automation and digitalisation improvements
- Participate in a 24/7 standby rota to deliver critical out-of-hours support and keep customer operations productive
