Role


Who you are

  • Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Proven management accounting experience, ideally within charity or not-for-profit sector
  • Experience managing budgets and financial information with complex funding
  • Familiarity with financial management of grants from institutional donors
  • Understanding of risk management and audit processes
  • Clear and effective communication with financial and non-financial colleagues
  • Skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
  • Personal or professional interest in humanitarian or development sectors

Desirables

  • Knowledge in grantee financial management
  • Understanding of IATI standards
  • Knowledge of accounting principles for charities

  • Ensure smooth high-quality financial management and reporting
  • Oversee financial activities audits and financial process improvements
  • Work on projects that support humanitarian aims in a supportive environment
