Requirements

  • Qualified ACA ACCA or CIMA
  • Retail experience with stock reconciliations stock provisions and inventory controls
  • Experience as a full-circle management accountant covering P&L balance sheet and cash flow
  • Ownership of year-end audit process
  • Experience preparing month-end accounts in Xero
  • Advanced Excel or Sheets and comfort with large data volumes
  • Genuine enthusiasm for automation AI and process improvement
  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Strong communicator able to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
  • Able to travel to London at least once per month
  • Management experience or readiness to step up

Day to day

  • Own and deliver monthly management accounts including P&L balance sheet and cash flow to a seven-day hard close
  • Prepare the board pack and monthly business review with clear commentary and actionable insight for leadership
  • Redesign month-end reporting and finance workflows to be faster leaner and less manual while preserving continuity
  • Build live dashboards and automate routine finance tasks to improve accuracy visibility and control
