Who you are

• 5-7 years’ experience in IT with 3+ years' management experience at a tech company
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and other ERP systems like Coupa, Oracle ERP, Workday Financials
• Excellent change management skills
• Experience with SaaS-based solutions and cloud architectures
• Ability to lead and develop global applications organization
• Knowledgeable in compliance and information security
• Substantial project management skills
• Proven ability to resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet goals
• Self-starter with excellent team management, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and adapt quickly to change
• Relevant business acumen and ability to use GitLab

What the job involves

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, overseeing a team of IT professionals dedicated to delivering high-value IT applications throughout the company
• Leverage skills, experience, drive, and passion to ensure that GitLab is equipped with IT applications to meet and exceed corporate objectives
• Establish and maintain strong business alignment with team members and sponsors, anticipate evolving business needs, and scale the team strategically
• Contribute to roadmap discussions across the organization with extensive NetSuite expertise
• Mentor the team, manage change effectively, and influence adoption and results with a client service orientation
• Build and sustain professional relationships at all organizational levels and demonstrate agility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
