Remote Manager, Platform Accounting Job in United States Kraken Digital Asset Exchange

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field
• 7+ years combined audit and/or accounting experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SOX
• Collaborative, innovative, flexible
• Adept at building relationships across the organization
• Handle and lead multiple projects in fast-paced environment
• Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables, H & V-Lookup
• CPA in good standing
• Experience or knowledge with cryptocurrency
• Experience and knowledge with SQL
• Experience with high volume transactions
• Experience using an ERP system such Netsuite

What the job involves

• Assist with fiat and digital asset position reconciliations across accounts and crypto wallets
• Research and correct discrepancies promptly, communicating actions to stakeholders
• Determining proper accounting treatments and implementing reconciliation procedures for new product launches and company initiatives
• Facilitate issue resolution between various departments, including making journal entries
• Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and reconciliation procedures
• Identify and work on automation opportunities with Finance Transformation and Product Engineering teams
• Support internal and external audits by documenting procedures and submitting PBC schedules
• Provide schedules and reconciliation support for financial and regulatory reporting requests
