Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing Engineering Chemistry Chemical Engineering or related field; MBA/MS preferred
- 10+ years of experience in sales business development or technical commercial roles
- Significant experience in the building and construction industry with decking or outdoor living preferred
- Deep knowledge of adhesive chemistries and real-world applications
- Proven success selling through direct distribution big box retail and private label channels
- Experience managing distribution relationships and private label programs
- Strong financial acumen including P&L ownership
- Experience with application development and collaboration with engineering and R&D teams
- Familiarity with inventory management and long lead-time supply chains
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM experience preferably Salesforce
- Exceptional communication presentation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel extensively 60-70% including international travel
Day to day
- Lead business development strategies to expand market presence across direct sales distribution big box retail private label and application-specific channels
- Build and manage strong customer and partner relationships while identifying new markets segments and opportunities to reduce concentration risk
- Serve as a technical and commercial expert in adhesives and construction applications collaborating with engineering and R&D on new solutions
- Oversee pricing contracts P&L working capital and market intelligence to support profitable growth and informed leadership decisions
