• Degree level or equivalent qualification
• 5 years’ experience in the energy sector and in the commodity trading business
• Experience in financial markets and derivative products
• Margining experience
• International experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook

What the job involves

• Oversee and supervise the team activities and priorities
• Ensure all reconciliation for all current day and previous day trades
• Work with Finance and assist in resolving AR/AP discrepancies
• Liaise with counterparties and internal teams such as Front Office, Middle Office to resolve transactions discrepancies and settlement failures
