Who you are

• 6+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager with at least 2 years of experience managing managers
• Previous experience in driving the development and optimization of AI capabilities within a product, preferably within a fast-paced and high-growth environment
• Excitement and curiosity for 0->1 product development, with a track record of crafting fast moving organizations that can turn innovative ideas into successful productionalized features

Desirables

• Knowledge and experience in generative AI
• Experience in product analytics

What the job involves

• Lead and support a team of managers and engineers responsible for developing and improving Figma's AI capabilities in our core products
• Collaborate with product, engineering, AI research and data science teams to define strategic goals and establish a roadmap for AI product development
• Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing engineers, contributing to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and calculated risk-taking
• Drive innovation in 0->1 product areas by exploring and implementing new AI technologies and techniques to enhance user experience
• Play a role in helping to build and drive inclusive and diverse team initiatives through hiring, community events, and other programs in collaboration with teams across Figma
