Who you are
- BS/BA degree in Accounting
- ACA and/or CPA
- At least 5-8 years of experience in a technical role in public accounting practice or industry
- Strong US GAAP technical accounting and financial reporting skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Self-starter, proactive approach
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret accounting literature
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Blackline, and Visual Lease preferred
- Familiarity with IFRS and UK GAAP preferred
What the job involves
- Serve as an internal expert on US GAAP accounting topics for unique or non-standard transactions
- Interact with finance team, business, and function leaders on accounting, reporting, and controllership matters
- Monitor and lead the implementation of new accounting guidance, assessing changes and implications for finance and non-finance stakeholders
