Remote Manufacturing Engineer Job in Grand Prairie, TX Lockheed Martin

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline
• Experience with Manufacturing / Assembly / Production processes
• Ability to obtain or currently possess a Secret Clearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Experience interpreting drawings, CAD models, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
• Ability to liaison between subcontractors, internal disciplines, and production operations
• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
• Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing and presentations
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration and business relationships
• Ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

What the job involves

• This position supports the production activities for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System Extended Range (GMLRS ER)
• Responsibilities include leading production line validations, supplier visits, internal manufacturing shop support, earned value management, proposal support, and design reviews for producibility
• Supporting hardware and tooling for Mechanical hardware and Supply Chain, Production Line Validations, Engineering Release reviews for new and revised design requirements, and Make or Buy coordination and management
