Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, including photolithography, etching, deposition, and thermal processing.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Day to day
- Develop, implement, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, process, and quality engineering to ensure seamless integration of new products and technologies into manufacturing.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate process performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in semiconductor manufacturing.
