Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, including photolithography, etching, deposition, and thermal processing.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Day to day

  • Develop, implement, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, process, and quality engineering to ensure seamless integration of new products and technologies into manufacturing.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Design and conduct experiments to evaluate process performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in semiconductor manufacturing.
