Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• Manufacturing Background
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Proficient in MS Office tools Teams and SharePoint
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Ability to liaison between multiple sites subcontractors and internal disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues from basic to complex

Desirables

• Experience in design for manufacturing
• SAP MRP production control system
• GD&T knowledge
• Earned Value Management experience
• CAD software competency
• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Experience with Government customers
• Proposal experience
• AS9100 and AS9145 standards knowledge

What the job involves

• Support the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Evolutionary Development team
• Evaluate designs and provide manufacturing feedback to lead to affordable and manufacturable designs while still meeting performance requirements
• Build relationships and collaborate with other disciplines and across multiple locations
• Work directly with government customers proposal estimating manufacturing readiness assessments and various manufacturing facilities
• Serve as the Manufacturing Engineering point of contact to other functions
• Conduct trade studies and test advanced technologies
• Create manufacturing plans make-or-buy analysis and present at design and manufacturing reviews
