Requirements
- Experience in teaching or delivering Functional Skills assessment content
- Experience in writing and reviewing assessment materials
- Strong subject knowledge and qualifications in English and Mathematics
- Strong understanding of assessment principles in education or assessment
- Ability to adhere to standards for development theory and practice
- Ability to work unsupervised in a timely manner
- Ability to meet set deadlines
- Confidence in contributing to professional review panels or committees
- Confidence in conducting reviews of FSQ assessments and giving constructive feedback
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven organisational ability

Day to day
- Write assessment content and mark schemes for Functional Skills Mathematics at multiple levels
- Review assessments and mark schemes produced by others and provide clear constructive feedback
- Work with the product development team using the assessment platform to support design presentation and final sign-off
