Requirements

  • Current MBA student or MBA completed within the past year
  • 3+ years of full-time professional experience prior to the MBA
  • Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in an unstructured entrepreneurial environment with limited hand-holding
  • Genuine interest in private equity M&A search funds or independent sponsorship as an operator not an advisor
  • Preferred experience in private equity M&A or investment banking venture capital corporate development or deal execution
  • A coherent focused pre-MBA career narrative in one or more relevant areas is strongly preferred

Day to day

  • Work directly with senior leadership on live acquisition transactions from day one
  • Source and evaluate inbound and sourced opportunities while conducting market and industry research
  • Build financial models valuation analyses and investment memoranda and support due diligence and negotiations
  • Analyze portfolio company operations develop growth strategies and use AI-assisted research workflows
