Requirements

- 4+ years of industry experience in mechanical or structural analysis
- Proven experience in structural analysis using FEA tools such as Ansys Abaqus or COMSOL

Day to day
- Perform rigorous mechanical analyses from hand calculations through detailed finite element analysis to evaluate structural performance and failure modes
- Interpret engineering codes and standards to define design limits acceptance criteria and support sound engineering decisions
- Create clear traceable documentation and presentations that summarize findings recommend design changes and communicate results to stakeholders
- Collaborate with design manufacturing quality and test teams to refine requirements and support validation and verification activities
- Develop and maintain in house analysis methods and best practices to improve consistency scalability and knowledge sharing
