Requirements
- Degree in a relevant engineering subject
- Membership or affiliation with an Engineering Council registered Institution
- Experience on multidisciplinary commercial MEP projects
- Experience designing commercial and industrial HVAC systems at RIBA Stages 1 to 4
- Experience with heating cooling and ventilation plant design
- Strong understanding of building services mechanical design
- Good knowledge of British Standards design guides and Building Regulations
- Awareness of health and safety and CDM regulations
- Competence in AutoCAD and REVIT

Day to day
- Design and develop commercial heat pump applications HVAC improvements and control strategies for low-carbon retrofit projects
- Prepare design and thermal simulation models using tools such as AutoCAD REVIT Navisworks IES VE Hysopt and EnergyPRO
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated designs specifications reports surveys and construction support
