Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer experience with high-temperature molten salt vessel or furnace design and custom equipment design and fabrication
- Mechanical Piping Engineer background with experience in high-temperature piping
- Mechanical Designer SolidWorks expert with substantial design-for-manufacturability experience high-temperature experience preferred
Nice to have
- DOE experience
- Commercial nuclear experience
Day to day
- Develop and detail custom process equipment such as vessels tanks and specialty components for high-temperature molten salt service
- Build and review 3D models and fabrication-ready drawings in SolidWorks while applying design-for-manufacturability principles
- Support high-temperature piping layout routing and material selection and collaborate with process structural and nuclear safety engineers to meet DOE and commercial nuclear codes and standards
